What is ACCELEROMETER

In electronic components, an ACCELEROMETER (accelerometer) is a device that measures force or acceleration.

These sensors are commonly used in a variety of devices such as smartphones, tablets, cars and aircraft.

ACCELEROMETER can measure acceleration along three axes (X, Y, Z). We can use this information to track your device's movement, orientation and location.

For example, a smartphone's accelerometer detects when a user rotates or shakes the device and automatically rotates the screen's orientation, or processes user input in games and apps.

Accelerometers are also used in vehicles such as cars and aircraft.

In these applications, the device's acceleration can be measured to automatically adjust the vehicle's brakes or aircraft's speed control.

ACCELEROMETER is built using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) technology, which can be manufactured in a very small size and has low power consumption.

This makes ACCELEROMETER widely used in various devices.
