What is ACTUATOR

Actuator is a term used in the field of electronic components, and refers to a device that moves or operates by receiving input or control signals.

Actuators are used to create and control a variety of movements, including electrical, mechanical, and fluidic.

Actuators are typically responsible for converting electrical energy into mechanical motion.

It is an important component in a control system because it creates or operates movement according to a given input signal.

Actuators can be implemented in a variety of shapes and principles, and generally include electric motors, piezos, solenoids, piezoils, and piezo valves.

For example, a brake actuator in a car receives an input signal when the driver depresses the brake pedal and activates the brake system.

As another example, an actuator on a robotic arm receives electrical signals and moves each part of the arm.

Actuators are used in many fields, including automation systems, robotics, automobiles, manufacturing processes, and home appliances.

Actuator selection is driven by the required range of motion, accuracy, speed, and force.

Therefore, in electronic components, actuator means a device that moves or operates by receiving an input signal or control signal, and is used in various application fields such as automation systems or robots.
