What is AEC-Q200


AEC-Q200 is a standard for evaluating the reliability of electronic components used in the automotive industry.

Abbreviation for Automotive Electronics Council-Q200, it defines the test and evaluation criteria that electronic component manufacturers must adhere to in order to meet the high reliability and performance demands of the automotive industry.

AEC-Q200 provides test standards for verifying the reliability of electronic components under environmental conditions such as temperature, vibration, shock, and moisture.

This plays an important role in meeting the rigorous operating environment and safety requirements of automobiles.

AEC-Q200 qualified electronic components ensure high reliability and durability when supplied to automobile manufacturers.

AEC-Q200 is applied for a variety of component types and covers various electronic component categories such as semiconductor components (e.g. integrated circuits, semiconductor devices), electrolytic capacitors, resistors, inductors, connectors, and more.
