What is AXIAL

Axial is one of the electronic parts, and means parts arranged with direction along the axis of the conductor.

These parts usually have an axial electrical connection.

Axial parts include axial resistors, axial capacitors, and axial inductors.

These parts are usually cylindrical and have electrodes attached to either end.

The electrodes are connected axially, and this connection determines the characteristics of the electrical circuit.

Axial components are commonly used by soldering them to a substrate or circuit board.

Axial components generally have low capacitance and high-quality electrical performance, and are widely used in simple circuits.

Axial components are larger than SMD (Surface Mount Device) components and are difficult to apply in automated production processes, so they are not actively used at present.
