What is BACKPLANE


In electronic components, Backplane is a printed circuit board (PCB)-based electronic component used to configure a system by connecting multiple cards (boards).

The backplane has card slots, and the system can be expanded by inserting other cards (modules) into these slots.

Backplanes are widely used in large systems. For example, they are used in servers, supercomputers, telecommunications equipment, industrial control systems, etc.

Backplanes are available in a variety of versions and sizes to suit individual systems.

Backplane guarantees high transmission speed and stability, and has the advantage of being able to connect multiple cards easily.

For this reason, backplanes are very important in large systems.
