What is BI-COLOR

In electronics, BI-COLOR is a term used to refer to Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) that usually have two different colors.

BI-COLOR LEDs are constructed by combining two color LED diodes within a single LED package.

BI-COLOR LEDs are often a combination of red and green LED diodes.

In this case, each LED diode has a different voltage or current, through which it displays a specific color.

For example, if a positive voltage is applied to a red LED diode and a negative voltage is applied to a green LED diode, it will display red or green. In case of no voltage or neutral condition, the LED will be off.

BI-COLOR LEDs are used in a variety of applications.

For example, it is used to indicate various states or information in traffic lights, electronic games, displays, etc.

In addition, BI-COLOR LEDs have advantages of low power consumption, long lifespan, small size and high reliability.
