What is BINARY

In electronics, binary is often a term used to describe a system or signal that can only have two states or values. This is a binary system represented by 0s and 1s.

In electronics, binary schemes are used in a variety of applications. Some examples are:

Binary code: Binary code is a way of representing data as a combination of 0s and 1s.

For example, a binary code system such as ASCII code or Unicode is used to represent information such as numbers, characters, and pictures in computers.

Digital Circuits: Digital circuits are composed of electronic components that process logical values of 0 and 1.

It uses a binary system to represent and control logical states of voltages or currents.

Digital circuits such as logic gates, flip-flops, and counters utilize the binary system.

Binary communication: Binary schemes also play an important role in communication systems.

In digital communication, data is converted into a binary signal to be transmitted, and then the receiving side decodes and restores the original information.

For example, Ethernet, USB, serial communication based on binary schemes are widely used.

In addition, the binary system is an important concept in various fields of electronic components such as computer architecture, programming, cryptography, and circuit design.
