What is BREAKER

A breaker is a device that detects and blocks overcurrent or short-circuit current to protect circuits.

Breakers are generally used in factories, buildings, and vehicles, and are installed in power supply circuits to protect power devices.

Breakers are generally available in a variety of forms, including automobiles, switchboards, plugs and sockets.

In general, breakers perform the same function as fuses, but fuses are cut only in abnormal current situations such as electrostatic shock, while breakers can be cut in all abnormal situations such as overvoltage and short-circuit current as well as electrostatic shock.
