What is BTL


In electronic components, BTL can be used in various meanings.

Often used as an abbreviation for Bridge-Tied Load, a term commonly used in audio applications.

Bridge-Tied Load (BTL) is one of the audio output configurations, which refers to the way an audio signal is presented to a bridged load.

The BTL configuration is commonly used in speaker amplifiers and is used to drive speakers efficiently.

In a BTL configuration, the speakers are bridged to pass both outputs. This can increase the efficiency of the speaker.

BTL can provide greater output than using a single speaker and improve low-frequency response.

This makes it a suitable configuration for reproducing low-frequency signals such as bass sounds.
