What is CAGE


Cage in electronic components means a cage-type structure for protection and shielding.

It is generally used to protect electronic parts or circuits inside electronic devices or to shield electromagnetic waves.

Cages are mainly installed inside electronic devices, and play a role in preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) and blocking interference from external electromagnetic waves.

Cages are usually made of metal, usually aluminum or steel.

Key features of Cage include:

Electromagnetic Wave Shield: Cage shields electronic parts or circuits inside electronic devices from external electromagnetic waves.

Through this, the internal circuit of the electronic device can operate normally without being affected by electromagnetic interference from the outside.

Protection: Cage protects parts or circuits inside electronic devices from physical impact or external factors.

This helps electronic components operate safely, resist damage and provide long-term reliability.

Thermal management: Cage manages the heat generated inside the electronics.

The cage structure effectively dissipates heat and induces airflow to help solve the thermal problem of electronic components.
