What is CHOPPER

In electronics, Chopper is a term used to describe a device used to convert or control electrical power.

Choppers are mainly used to convert direct current (DC) power or control direct current voltage.

A chopper is generally composed of a switch and a diode, and the switch periodically turns on and off the power.

These switching operations can convert or regulate voltage or current.

One of the main uses of Chopper is to convert DC power. For example, a Chopper, also known as a DC-DC converter, can convert an input DC voltage to another voltage level.

This allows you to step up or down the voltage, reverse the voltage, and more.

Chopper can also be used to control voltage or current. Using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology, Chopper can regulate the output voltage or current by controlling the pulse width of the input signal.

They are widely used in motor control, power conversion systems, power supplies, etc.

In summary, Chopper in electronic components means a device used for power conversion or control.

Chopper consists of a switch and a diode, and is mainly used to convert or control direct current (DC) voltage.

Choppers are used for DC power conversion, voltage or current control, and the output can be regulated using PWM technology.
