What is CONTACT

Contact is one of the very important concepts in electronic components.

Contact means the point at which electrical signals pass between electronic components. In electronic components, Contact refers to an electrical connection point, and no electrical signal is transmitted unless it is electrically contacted.

Contact in electronic components can be implemented in many forms.

For example, Connector is a form of Contact used to pass electrical signals between electronic components.

A Connector consists of a number of pins or sockets, allowing connections between electronic components.

Contact also appears on elements such as Pad and Trace inside the circuit board.

A Pad represents a connection point between a pin on an electronic component and a circuit board, and a Trace is a metal wire used to make electrical connections on a circuit board.

Contact is one of the key elements for signal transmission in electronic components, and plays a very important role in electronic component design and manufacturing.

A good Contact ensures signal accuracy and stability, and contributes to improving the life and performance of electronic components.
