What is DEFLECTION

In electronic components, deflection refers to deflecting an electron beam or signal in a specific direction. This refers to a function that manipulates the path of an electron beam or signal using an electromagnetic field to move it in a desired direction.

Deflection is used in a variety of electronic components and devices. Some examples include:

Electro-optical system: deflection is used to deflect light rays in a specific direction using optical lenses or mirrors. It plays an important role in optical systems such as lasers and fiber optic communications.

Cathode Ray Tube (CRT): A CRT uses a beam of electrons to create an image on a screen, which deflects the electron beam to manipulate the electron beam to a specific location on the screen.

Electron Microscope: An electron microscope is used to observe the microscopic structure of an object using a beam of electrons. It irradiates the surface of an object by deflecting an electron beam and creates an image.

Radar system: Radar is used to measure the position, distance, speed, etc. of objects using radio waves. The deflection of radio waves provides information about the position and motion of objects.

Cruise Control Systems: Deflection technology may be used in cars or in car driving assistance systems. For example, you can implement functions such as automatically adjusting the driving path by adjusting the direction according to the speed or distance of the vehicle.

Deflection plays an important role in many applications in electronic components and electronic systems. Accurate deflection and positioning of electron beams or signals is essential in a variety of technologies and applications.
