What is DEVICE


In electronic components, Device generally refers to a device that performs electrical and electronic operations.

Among the various types of parts used in electronic parts, all that include the parts that actually work can be called devices.

For example, among semiconductor devices, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits (ICs), laser diodes, and light transmission devices are examples of devices.

In addition, among electrical parts, switches, motors, and electrical converters are also classified as devices.

These devices perform various functions in electronic devices and circuits, process electrical signals or supply power.

Some of these are classified as either digital or analog components, but primarily those that perform electrical and electronic operations.

Each device has its own characteristics and unique operating principle, and depending on its characteristics, it is used for various purposes.

Accurately understanding and properly utilizing these devices is one of the core technologies of electronic device and circuit design.

Therefore, in electronic parts, a device generally means a device that performs electrical and electronic operations and plays an important role in electronic device and circuit design.
