What is GASKET

In electronic components, a “Gasket” is generally a component that serves to isolate or separate physical elements inside a device or device. Gaskets are often used to provide airtightness and insulation. These include several key uses:

Sealing and Waterproofing: Gaskets are used to prevent water or particulates from penetrating inside electronic devices or components. This will protect your device from moisture, dust, or other external environmental factors.

Electrical Insulation: Some gaskets are made of electrically insulating materials to provide electrical insulation between electronic circuits or components. This is important to prevent short circuits and maintain electrical safety.

Mechanical Protection: Gaskets can be used to prevent physical contact between electronic and mechanical components or to cushion shock. This prevents damage caused by friction, vibration or collision between parts.

Heat Management: Some gaskets are made from materials with low thermal conductivity, which can effectively block or dissipate heat. This helps protect heat-sensitive components and optimize performance.

Gaskets used in electronic components can be made from a variety of materials and come in a variety of shapes and sizes depending on the specific requirements of the component and device. These gaskets are one of the important components in maintaining the stability and performance of electronic devices.
