What is GUIDE

In electronic components, a guide is a component that provides a path through which electromagnetic waves are transmitted.

Guides are typically used in the high frequency or microwave frequency range and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Guide operates differently depending on the amplitude and frequency of electromagnetic waves.

If the amplitude of the electromagnetic wave is low, the guide can pass through it as it is, but if the amplitude of the electromagnetic wave is high, it may collide with the wall of the guide and be reflected or dissipated.

Therefore, the guide should be well selected according to the frequency range of electromagnetic waves.

Guides generally come in a variety of forms.

Generally, it comes in a metal case with a rectangular, circular, or elliptical cross section, and this case serves to induce electromagnetic waves.

Guides are also provided in various forms such as polarization, linear polarization, and circular polarization, so you can select them according to the characteristics of electromagnetic waves.

Guide also plays a role in directing and concentrating electromagnetic waves.

Therefore, Guide is used as an important part in electromagnetic wave technology such as antennas and radars.
