What is HERMETICALLY

“Hermetically” is used to mean “in a completely enclosed state.” In the world of electronic components, “hermetically sealed” or “hermetically packaged” refers to components that are completely isolated from the external environment. This means that it is sealed to prevent outside air, moisture, dust, and other contaminants from entering the part.

When electronic components or other sensitive systems must meet specific environmental demands, being hermetically sealed is very important. This is especially important for components that must operate under high pressure, high temperature, low temperature, vacuum, or extremely extreme environments. These hermetically sealed components are widely used in aerospace, military, medical, etc.
