What is LDO


A low-dropout (LDO) regulator is a type of linear voltage regulator used in electronic components.

The LDO regulator provides a stable output voltage by minimizing the step-down between the input and output voltages.

LDO regulators are used in electronic components that require voltage stabilization.

For example, in mobile devices, LDO regulators are used to convert the battery voltage to a stable 3.3V or 5V.

In addition, it provides a stable voltage in digital systems such as microcontrollers to ensure system stability and reliability.

LDO regulators are also used in low power electronic components. This is because the voltage conversion efficiency is relatively poor.

LDO regulators are widely used in mobile devices and portable devices where low power consumption and battery life are important due to their simple and reliable structure.
