What is MULTILAYER

Multilayer is one of the terms used in electronic components.

Multilayer is usually associated with a multi-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB).

A PCB is a board used to attach and electrically connect electronic components. A multilayer PCB is multiple layers of PCBs plus one.

Multilayer PCBs are useful for saving space, improving performance, and reducing electrical noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

A multilayer capacitor is a capacitor made up of multiple electrically isolated layers.

These capacitors are suitable for large capacity, high voltage, high frequency, high temperature, etc., and high capacitance can be achieved through multi-layer structure.

A Multilayer inductor is an inductor made up of multiple layers and is used at high frequencies.

The total inductance can be increased through the multi-layer structure.

Therefore, Multilayer is used as a term for multilayer structures in electronic components.
