What is OPERATIONAL


In electronic components, OPERATIONAL is a term that usually refers to a component that is in operation, i.e., in a state of motion.

For example, an OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER is responsible for amplifying the input signal and is active when the circuit is running.

Additionally, the OPERATIONAL TRANSIMPEDANCE AMPLIFIER (operating current-to-voltage transformer) is responsible for converting the input current to output voltage and is active when the circuit is running.

The term OPERATIONAL is a commonly used term in electronic components and is used to indicate that a component or circuit performs a specific function when in operation.

These parts, used together with other parts, play an essential role in processing and controlling electrical signals.
