What is RANGE

Range is one of the electronic components, a term used to describe the range used in measuring tools.

It is commonly used in electrical measuring instruments or electronic equipment to indicate the measurement range of voltage, current, resistance, frequency, etc.

For example, multimeters have different measurement ranges, and these ranges are selected according to the magnitude of the corresponding electrical signal.

The multimeter's measurement range can usually be selected in manual or automatic mode, in which the user manually selects the measurement range.

Range also plays an important role in other electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes.

These instruments select a measurement range based on the magnitude of the input signal and generate an output based on that.

Range represents the smallest and largest values in the measurement tool, and values beyond this range cannot be measured.

Therefore, when selecting a measurement tool, it is important to consider the measurement range and select the appropriate tool.
