What is REED

Reed is one of the electronic components and is mainly used in switches and sensors.

Reed has a very thin tip made of a metal material, and the tip senses and responds to the magnetic field.

Using these characteristics, Reed switches open or close depending on the presence of a magnetic field.

Reed switches are small and economical, and have high reliability and long lifespan, so they are used in various fields such as automobiles, security systems, and home appliances.

Reed sensors also play an important role in the automotive industry as they are used in automobile speedometers and automated door open detection systems.
