What is SAW


SAW is one of the terms commonly used in electronic components.

SAW is an abbreviation of Surface Acoustic Wave, which means surface wave.

SAW is a technology used to pass and filter high-frequency signals.

SAW transmits signals using the pyzoelectric effect, and performs frequency selection and filtering functions through this.

SAW filters are used to filter signals by passing certain frequencies and blocking others.

SAW is mainly used in wireless communications, satellite communications, and TV reception.

For example, SAW filters are used as frequency selectors in radio communications and in satellite communications to separate signals between transmitter and receiver.

Compared to other filtering techniques, SAW has superior performance and large bandwidth.

In addition, because of its small size and low power consumption, it is widely used in mobile devices.
