What is SRAM


SRAM stands for Static Random Access Memory and is one of the electronic components for storing data.

Unlike DRAM, SRAM does not need to constantly update data.

SRAM is relatively fast and can operate with low power, so it is widely used where fast data access is required, such as computer cache memories and registers.

Also, because SRAM stores data as direct electrical signals, it can retain data even when power is cut.

SRAM is composed of transistors and capacitors.

Each cell is made up of a combination of a transistor and a capacitor, and the transistor is used to store data.

SRAM provides high speed and performance with a small capacity, and is used in various fields such as CPU caches, graphics cards, and routers.
