What is TIN


TIN is one firing used in electronic components.

TIN mainly has high tensile strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and has the characteristics of being easily melted into an alloy when used in a welding or soldering process.

Due to these characteristics, TIN is used in various parts such as printed circuit boards (PCBs), semiconductor chips, LEDs, and solar cells in electronic parts.

In addition, TIN is non-toxic and can be purchased at a relatively low price, so it is used more than other materials.

However, since TIN has a low melting point, it has limitations when used at high temperatures.

Therefore, other firings, materials with higher melting points, can be used for parts used at higher temperatures.
