What is X7R

X7R is a term representing one of the material properties of multilayer ceramic capacitors used in electronic components.

X7R has a characteristic that the magnetic induction coefficient and de-electric constant of a capacitor are maintained almost constant in a certain temperature range.

The X7R guarantees stability over a wide temperature range, and exhibits stable performance even at high frequencies and high temperatures.

Due to this, X7R is recognized as one of the material properties of multilayer ceramic capacitors that are very widely used in computer, communication, industrial and automotive fields.

X7R is used with other multilayer ceramic capacitor materials such as NPO, X5R, etc., each material guarantees stability in a different temperature range and has different advantages.

Material selection is one of the most important factors in the design and manufacturing process of electronic components, and the performance and reliability of electronic components can be improved through proper material selection.
